Deceased September 03, 1998 NASSAU- Mrs. Kathryn M. Younkin, 50, of Elm Street, died 
Thursday (Sept 3, 1998) at Albany Memorial Hospital after being stricken at her home. Mrs. Younkin was born Sept. 26, 1947 in Buffalo, a daughter of Jack and Norma Shields Schollard of Corfu. She grew up in the Batavia-Corfu area, lived in Syracuse then moved to Nassau in 1972. She was the manager of Super Mart in Schodack for nine years and for the past three years was the manager of Stahlmans Mobile in Schodack. She was a graduate of the State university at Buffalo, a member of the Grace United Methodist Church of Nassau, of the United Methodist Women and of the Nassau Village Zoning Board of Appeals. She was a former 4-H member. In addition to her parents she is survived by a daughter, Shannon Younkin of Troy; two sons, Shawn K. Younkin stationed at a U.S. Navy Base in Maine and Schuyler K. Younkin of Nassau; three sisters, Cecilia Schollard of Akron, Ohio, Paula Trapani of Corfu and Shirley Armstrong of Largo, Fla; four brothers, Jack Schollard of Seattle, Wa., Vincent Schollard of Corfu, Brian Schollard of Corfu and Huey Schollard of Corfu. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald A. Younkin. Family and friends may call form 6-9pm Sunday at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau,. Funeral Services will take place 10am Monday at the Grace United Methodist Church in Nassau with interment in Nassau Cemetery. Contributions to the Schuyler K. Younkin Education Fund in care of the Funeral Home are appreciated.
