Deceased January 29, 2009 Beloved spouse of Lillian (Gill) Schoreder, dear parent of Stacy Folger and Justin; grandparent of Ashley, 
Christina and Cassia; survived by a sister, Peg Kleiber and nieces Heather and Heidi; long time friend of Paul Schriber. A Memorial Service will be held in Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 1025 Borden Rd, Depew NY Wednesday, February 4th at 1pm

Observation by Arthur Mruczek:
I received several calls from "Schroeder" the month before our 40th reunion because "Schroeder" was not sure acceptance would follow the difficult decision weather or not to attend the party. "Joy'" is my name and my gender. Yet I called my classmate "Schroeder" because it was easier that finding the right 'fit' for 'Joy or Gary'. "Schroeder" was very brave when the decision was finalized to attend the 40 year class reunion. Many struggled with their own gender in light of "Schroeder's" new dress, exagerated voice, gestures and actions. We all remembered differently the years gone by. Some did not know what to say, some said too much. But "Schroeder's" new found sexuality did not seem to be a stumbling point. After all, "Schroeder" was most of all, one of us, somewhat differently evolved but still a member of our class. And there were some funnies; for instance, when prizes were distributed, "Schroeder" won the girl who changed the most as well as the man who had changed the most. The Prize was one lottery ticket for the boy and the gal.
